關於巷弄 About alleys
巷弄是居民生活的縮影，更是歷史流動中的一面鏡子。從早期農業社會到日治時期，再到戰後都市化過程，巷弄的改變也反映著城市的擴張與轉型。
當走進巷弄裡，不難發現這些空間中留下的痕跡。斑駁的紅磚牆、 長滿青苔的屋瓦、木造窗框上的雕花，這些建築細節印證了歲月流轉。巷弄也充斥著濃厚的生活氣息，巷口早餐店、巷尾的手工藝店、午後響起的打鐵聲，構成了台灣庶民文化的縮影。
如今老街區被改建，傳統店鋪逐漸凋零，許多珍貴的文化記憶隨著老一輩人的離去跟著消失。在現代化的浪潮中，過往巷弄的生機逐漸埋沒，老街的魅力與昔日的情懷已成為了珍貴的記憶。
Alleyways are a microcosm of the residents' lives and serve as a mirror reflecting the flow of history. From the early agricultural society to the Japanese colonial period and the post-war urbanization process, the changes in alleyways mirror the expansion and transformation of the city.
As you walk into an alley, it’s easy to spot the traces left behind in these spaces. The weathered red brick walls, moss-covered rooftops, and the intricate carvings on wooden window frames testify to the passage of time. Alleyways are also filled with a strong sense of daily life — from the breakfast shops at the alley entrances to the craft stores at the alley ends, and the sound of blacksmithing in the afternoon — all forming a snapshot of Taiwan's grassroots culture.
Today, the old neighborhoods are being redeveloped, and traditional shops are gradually fading away. Many precious cultural memories are disappearing with the passing of the older generation. In the wave of modernization, the vibrant life once found in these alleyways is slowly being buried, and the charm and nostalgia of the old streets have become treasured memories.
